Charity Pick - 1st Quarter 2017
We've chosen the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank for this quarter. It serves so many people every day but suffered devastating damage in last fall's floods. I've volunteered here to help sort food and was blown away by the enormity of their operations, and therefore, their impact. I was so impressed when I learned how far they can stretch a dollar and how hard they work to build strategic relationships for serving the most people.
